Lee-Stuart Evans // LALO Tactical 5" Shadow Amphibian Review
Our old friend Lee-Stuart Evans is back again with another insightful breakdown. This time, he assesses our LALO Tactical 5" Shadow Amphibian where he runs them through the paces as a Search and Rescue Diver in the unpredictable and unforgiving environment of Newton, Connecticut. Are they as versatile as we claim them to be?
LALO Tactical has long been a favorite here at The Air Land and Sea, and for good reason. Their no-nonsense approach to footwear engineering has become the shoes and boots I carry on using long after the reviews have ended. I find when considering price and performance Lalo easily beat Danner, Belleville or GORUCKS equivalent offerings. In testing for this review I wore them for various drills and calls as a Search and Rescue Diver for NUSAR in CT.
The Shadow Amphibian 5″ is the more agile cousin to the 8″ Shadow Intruder, shedding bulk without sacrificing protection. The Coyote colorway is as mission-ready as ever—blending seamlessly into both urban and desert environments.
